Diversity of opinions leads many times not only to disagreements but also to conflicts, crisis and sometimes war. The current political landscape in Catalonia is an example of how different opinions can escalate into a nation-wide conflict. Our December event showed ways how to solve conflicts and ultimately, how to find peace. Instead of pointing onto the “bad guy” in order to show how good we are, we started with the idea that we are all equal and that we should (and need) search for a common ground to find agreement. William Ury, one of the most famous mediators proclaims in his TED talk to search for a third side, a side both parties agree to. In our event we talked about that and also about other ways to find agreement.

Christmas gift collection
As this was our Christmas event, we organized a gift collection for children in vulnerable and socially excluded conditions. Thanks to our community we could give children a joy by collecting used books and toys for the most needy!
Our community brought many used toys and books and we handed them over to the Pere Tarres Foundation which gave it to the children. Thank you for helping us in creating smiles! 😀
