At TEDxBarcelonaLive we are offering you the original TED events live in Barcelona (via live-streaming). During one day we presented the talks of one day at TEDGlobal 2014 which takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. The world is changing fast. Fresh thinking can be found in every direction, in emerging geographies as well as in the western hemisphere. Prepare to have your world turned upside down: Join us in Barcelona to follow Rio’s conference and explore the realities of tomorrow. After seven years traveling the world, TEDGlobal is headed “South!” TEDGlobal 2014 will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with program focused on the Global South’s rise in influence and power – plus relevant stories from the rest of the world. We will be able to follow on streaming the talks on October 9th from 16:00 to 20:00 pm at the
Mobile World Center Barcelona (c/Fontanella 2, Plaça Catalunya, Barcelona). The language of the talks will be in english without subtitles. During the breaks we will offer some surprises.
We will be able to test and OCULUS GOOGLE GLASS to enter a new world, where technology and virtual reality will allow us to discover a new outlook on life. And thanks to FAB COFFEE, you can ask your doll-face custom made by a 3D printer. After all this, we will enjoy a fantastic Happy Hour with delicious “tapas” and a cocktail of Ron Rituals and Damm Beer, so we can do networking and get better acquainted. To enjoy snacks and surprises, there is a ticket of € 7 if you buy online and 10 € if you buy the day of the event.
