TEDxBarcelonaSalon - happiness

About this event :

Can you measure happiness? According to our guest, Alejandro Cencerrado, happiness can be measured. He has been doing it for 17 years, evaluating his happiness on a daily basis with a score from 1 to 10. It is the longest scientific study carried out on day-to-day happiness. What has earned him to distinguish the factors that most affect his well-being. How much do time, your partner or your boss influence your well-being? “Unhappy times are both inevitable and necessary,” he reveals.

Our speaker, Alejandro Cencerrado (Albacete, 1987) is a big data analyst at the Institute of Happiness in Copenhagen (Denmark). In his work he analyzes the factors that most influence people’s happiness. Along with his personal study, he will reveal to us in his talk that being happy is much more difficult than we thought, and that being bad from time to time is an inevitable part of life.
