At our TEDxBarcelonaSalon events we foster networking, dialog and the discussion among all members of TEDxBarcelona. In order to achieve this we meet once a month and listen to an interesting talk. After watching the talk we discuss about the presented subject using the socratic dialog. In order to make this event effective we limit the number of attendees.

Our September-TEDxBarcelonaSalon event took place on Monday, 3rd of September at 18:45 at the library Excellence (C/ Balmes 191).

Marc Goodman: How to prevent crime in an open world?

The world is becoming increasingly open, and that has implications both bright and dangerous. Marc Goodman paints a portrait of a grave future, in which technology’s rapid development could allow crime to take a turn for the worse. At our event we showed his talk (in english) where Marc Goodman presents the results of his investigation. After watching his talk together we discussed about the presented results among all of us.

As always, we will discuss about the content presented (in spanish) using the socratic dialogue. We will finish the event with networking, cava and tapas.
