TEDxBarcelonaSalon 8.4.13

At our TEDxBarcelonaSalon events we foster networking, dialog and the discussion among all members of TEDxBarcelona. In order to achieve this we meet once a month and listen to an interesting talk. After watching the talk we discuss about the presented subject. In order to make this event effective we limit the number of attendees.

Our April-TEDxBarcelonaSalon event took place on Monday, 8th of April at 18:45 at the library Excellence (C/ Balmes 191).

How to educate our kids?

How can you help kids get a good start? In this heartfelt and personal talk, Colin Powell, the former U.S. Secretary of State, asks parents, friends and relatives to support children from before they even get to primary school, through community and a strong sense of responsibility. We watched his talk altogether (video in english with spanish subtitles) and discussed afterwards about his view and importance of responsibility and if this is also applicable to Europe.

We finished the event with networking and a glass of cava.
