At our TEDxBarcelonaSalon events we foster networking, dialog and the discussion among all members of TEDxBarcelona. In order to achieve this we meet once a month and listen to an interesting talk. After watching the talk we discuss about the presented subject. In order to make this event effective we limit the number of attendees.

Our July-TEDxBarcelonaSalon event took place on Monday, 1st of July at 18:45 at the library Excellence (C/ Balmes 191).

Robert Gordon: The end of growth?

Robert Gordon is one of the most influential macroeconomists of these times. According to his analysis we won´t have the same growth we had in the last century and which brought us so much wealth and quality of life. According to his predictions, we will have no growth at all. We watched the video of his talk altogether (in english with spanish subtitles). Afterwards, we discussed about his ideas, if these scenarios are probable and about the positive and negative aspects of economic growth.

We finished the event with networking and a glass of cava.
