At our TEDxBarcelonaSalon events we foster networking, dialog and the discussion among all members of TEDxBarcelona. In order to achieve this we meet once a month and listen to an interesting talk. After watching the talk we discuss about the presented subject. In order to make this event effective we limit the number of attendees.

Our May-TEDxBarcelonaSalon event took place on Monday, 6th of May at 18:45 at the library Excellence (C/ Balmes 191).

Ronny Edry: Israel and Iran – the power of the people

Ronny Edry is a graphic designer, teacher and father. While it is not possible to call any phone in Iran from Israel, in March 2012, Ronny used Facebook to send positive and peaceful messages to the Iranian people. They responded likewise and this sparked a dialogue between the peoples of these countries which otherwise wouldn’t have been possible. We watched his talk together (video in english with spanish subtitles) and discussed afterwards about the presented idea and the power of the people in complex situations like the one in Israel/Iran.

We finished the event with networking and a glass of cava.
